Role
- Report to Vice President, Business Process Solution; manage a team of IT professionals located in Singapore and Japan
- Responsible for the engagement between the company's IT APJ and the company's APJ's internal lines of business (LoB) in Sales, Marketing, Consulting areas.
- Align IT Business Application activities with LoBs to enable the business objectives in APJ; A) Setup and execute a structured and effective engagement process with the LOBs in both roll-in and rollout area. Ensure that LoBs' application requirements are collected, planned, and prioritized for implementation at global level. B) In addition, actively explore and develop together with the LoBs to identify opportunities of new and/or enhanced business applications, jointly prepare business cases
- Oversee and ensure following activities are carried out successfully; A)that APJ projects are implemented and rolled out in region. B) that global business applications are deployed in the region
- Working with global managers in BPS to ensure a close working relationship and global delivery
- Working with the Global Operation team and managers in APJ to maintain a close working relationship and ensure that projects are handed over to operation team and feedbacks / requirements from the operation teams are addressed
- Manage the budget for the Front Office group
- Optimize team operational processes and improve team efficiency
- Build, develop and transform the existing professional team to the next level
Requirements
- A degree in computer science or other relevant studies
- At least 5 years experience in similar management position
- Proven track record of managing IT application projects and business engagement in a global company
- Deep understanding of business processes in Sales, Marketing, Consulting and Education business
- Deep understanding of SAP application and technology, especially in the areas of CRM, ERP, and BI. Understanding ABAP and other SAP development technology is an added advantage
- Strong customer interaction skills, communication and presentation skills
- Strong understanding of IT application management, project management and IT processes
- Able to work under extreme pressure, critical situations, and extreme tight deadlines
- Agile, flexible and be an entrepreneur to drive business forward in IT
- Strong drive to continuously expand one’s own professional capabilities to fuel the continued/ongoing growth and success of the company
- Demonstrate concern for meeting and exceeding immediate and future needs of customers
