Client

Out Client is a world leader in providing Software Configuration Management and Portfolio Management Solutions.

Role

Responsible for working closely with field sales representatives to provide and coordinate technical support during the entire sales cycle, from qualification through closure.

• Effectively present and demonstrate the Company’s products and solutions to current and prospective customers, while participating in sales calls as primary technical resource.

• Work closely with sales representatives to satisfy all technical needs during the sales cycle, including the articulation of Company’s competitive positioning.

• Support prospective customer product trials by gathering technical requirements, performing product installations, providing basic training, and demonstrating how the product meets the stated requirements.

• Follow up regularly with the prospective customers' technical contacts.

• Support and assist the sales representatives in producing high quality, winning responses to RFP’s and RFI’s; and POC's (Proof of Concepts).

• Conduct needs assessments prior to each technical product sales presentation, in order to help qualify the opportunity and to focus on the particular prospect's requirements.

• Conduct reviews of Customer implementations to assist customer leverage the maximum business benefit from their installed products.

Requirements

• Requires a BSc, Engineering degree or equivalent and at least five plus years of technology experience in a pre-sales support, software development, QA, and/or post-sales support role; preferably with 2 or more years of successful pre-sales support responsibility.

• Two plus years of team-oriented software development experience with strong understanding and appreciation of Application Lifecycle Management concepts and practical application experience, including the use of version control tools or project & portfolio management tools, in a Windows or UNIX environment.

• Must have strong technical writing skills and strong project/program management skills

• Understands software development process and software configuration management.
