Client

The Client is a top-tier provider in the IT Outsourcing industry, selling services to global Fortune 500 and local clients. The Client offers a complete range of IT Outsourcing services in Data Centre facilities, Mainframe, Unix and Wintel, Networks, Desktop, Helpdesk, Security and cross functional services. The Client is now looking for a Solution Architect/Manager to join its pre-sales solutions team.

Role

The Solution Architect/Manager will participate in all phases of a project lifecycle being the lead of technical discussions with customers. He/she will be the owner of all service areas in the Solution Manager role. The requirement is for a highly motivated individual, with strong all-round experience and skills. The role covers primarily the Asia region, with a requirement to support global projects from time to time. This management/technical role will be part of a pre-sales organization that supports the sales team in winning business.

Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the work on Request For Information (RFI), Request For Pricing (RFP) to identify strategy and risks and to develop a cost competitive solution.
2. Prepare and lead strategy, solution and costing reviews at both regional and global levels.
3. Identify risks and develop risk mitigation strategies and perform due diligence to reduce risk.
4. Work closely with operations (product lines) to get sign-off on strategy, solution and cost.
5. Support and participate in Legal, Commercial, Pricing, Delivery Assurance reviews where necessary.
6. Prepare marketing collateral, assist in providing responses to RFI and involved in qualifying opportunities.
7. Work on assigned projects when required.
